About the Program
Bay Area Hurricanes
Based in San Jose, California, Bay Area Hurricanes is a competitive, development-driven basketball program built for players who are serious about growth and accountability. We work with select athletes only and operate differently than most programs.
We do not stack multiple teams at the same age level. Instead, we focus on one team per age group to ensure high standards, consistent coaching, and real competition within our program. This structure creates clarity, purpose, and accountability, every player earns their role.
Our environment is competitive, demanding, and honest. Every practice matters. Every rep counts. Players are challenged to earn minutes, earn trust, and earn opportunities.
This is not a program for everyone.
This is a program for players who want to compete, develop, and be pushed.
The NBA and G League Model
In rare cases where an age group has enough high-level talent, we may field two “A” teams. These teams are treated like an NBA and G League model, players can move up or down based on performance, effort, and development.
No guaranteed spots. No politics. Just basketball.
